Palm Jebel Ali is one of Dubai’s most ambitious artificial islands, designed to be even larger than the famous Palm Jumeirah. The project was originally launched in 2002 by Nakheel, the same developer behind Palm Jumeirah. In 2023, under Dubai’s visionary urban expansion plans, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced its revival, with a renewed focus on sustainability and luxury.
Size and Design
Palm Jebel Ali is expected to cover approximately 13.4 square kilometers, making it twice the size of Palm Jumeirah.
